Naw, that's not it. I don't even like going to the movies any more. I always go alone anyway, so why not just watch it on my computer or DVD player? Going to the movies isn't that great any more. The big screen is awesome for some movies, but most movies are just as easily seen on a PC monitor.

I agree with the Netflix selection. Their library is awesome. I've seen some cool movies that prolly were never shown in Metro Detroit theaters....or at least not more than 1 or 2.

I'm going to try the torrents for the heck of it and see if I get grief from my ISP. I pretty much just want to see I Am Legend and Cloverfield.

I have some friends on Stickam. They will all get in a room and watch a movie together. Funny. Miles and miles apart, but all sitting together watchin a flick. That's where I saw them showing the latest flicks and wondered how the heck they go 'em. And they were really good quality for new movies.

Oh well. I will stick with NetFlix, just $9/month. No big expense.

IMHO...torrent DVDrip quality (just started using it recently) is plenty good for most of the crap the studios are producing & hoping you'll pay $8+ at the theater. For the few good ones, I can copy a rental. Just like the music industry, the movie industry (only slightly more forward thinking) is desperately trying to milk every $ out of their old school cash cow.

For those of you complaining about quality, I have some terms you need to use in the future, when you search:

720p
MKV
x264

I'll leave it to you to figure out why those terms might interest you...
