They used to say the same thing about Steve Fisher.

There are others. Calpiari isnt the model coach, but there are certainly some who take sleeze to a while new level.
Forgot about Snyder...but he was dook, how could he be crooked?!

Ernie Kent would be at the top of my list. Too bad he can't coach.

Izzo/Calipari Connection

I always thought the same thing, but then I wonder about the Izzo / Calipari friendship. I cannot believe some of these guys are friends, in fact good friends, with some of the sleazier coaches.

With Calapari and Sampson as his friends, it surprises me Izzo doesnt know what is going on.

Does he just look the other way???

Switch Boeheim for Calhoun and I agree with that as a top 5.

So, you're not a Spartan? Just curious, who is your alma mater? Why are you so defensive about Memphis?

I am a "Spartan" and have been for 40+ years; I've posted on this board since it's inception in 95; I live in Memphis, I've atended most of their games this season and I know John Calipari and I think that most who post about him on this board are full of ****.

I always root for the Spartans...I would love to see MSU win...I don't know if they have the players. If Izzo can get inside the heads of the Memphis players then I think MSU wins if they (MSU) bring their best game. If not, I think Memphis wins. That being said, many here are looking past MSU to Texas...which really pisses me off.

They want this game, but they are being cocky. Most of the local sports pundits are idiots and really don't know basketball.

Bump for the newest Calipari scandal.

Calipari, Donovan, Huggins, Boeheim, and Williams remain the top 5

Defending John Calipari......

good luck with that rob. I don't care where you live or how many Memphis games you've been to. The guy is dirty and anyone with 1/2 a brain that follows college hoops KNOWS that. Talk about a losing battle.................

I'm sure Izzo knows what kind of stuff Calipari, Boeheim and Calhoun do just as he knew what Sampson was doing. You can be gracious in public like Izzo or be like Bobby Knight. I have a hunch Izzo treats these guys like we treat friends who cheat on their taxes or their wives. You tell them you don't and they might get caught.

Since Memphis State became Memphis because of a recruiting scandal - what are they going to change their name to now?
