Maybe not, because it would have been a full cage and tougher to notice; the lid wouldn't have flipped as easily.

Not too hard to do,
But hey, Abs is out there with Datsyuk. A little bit better than Kennedy, if you ask me...

I imagine they will ask him not to dump the puck when he has it deep into the offensive zone. Habits can be hard to break.

Hopefully Abdelkader has a longer stint in the NHL than Brad Fast wound up with. Fast played 1 game for the Hurricanes, scored a goal, never made it back.

Actually they held the puck in the zone for a minute thanks to that play... as opposed to forcing a bad pass that would've been picked off and would've trapped him and Chelios. Yeah, those awful habits. Shut the **** up.

No thank you - we have plenty of ineptitude with Aaron, Shegos, and MacInchak already.
Although, I would pay $10 to see Hightower fall flat on his ass for 60 minutes.

Yeah, I hate Shegos. And I agree - that'd be worth at least $10.

God, and I wanted just any ref. Both of these are college refs.

OR, do something unfancy, like give up possission of the puck. He was at the face off dot with nobody on him!!!! Circle, look to see who is coming up ice for the shot. I know it is something we haven't seen in years at MUNN, but it works and maybe even get a scoring chance. Now isn't that a 'fancy' idea.

The safe play is always to put the puck deep behind the goal line. Gives the team a chance to maintain possession without risking interception that cold spark an odd man rush.
