Since I played organ for years Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor is a favorite of mine - trust me, you've heard it.

I also sing and this year I'm finally getting a chance to do Carmina Burana - O Fortuna. It's so ridiculously simple to sing but amazing when it's all put together.
How come I didnt know this? Where do you sing? Since it's looking like Im gonna stick around for a while, I really need to start singing again. Do you know of any good big chorales that I can look into?

You can listen to this Classical Radio station online and purchase any CD you like directly from the site. Dare to Listen provides a schedule with the title/composer and other information for you to follow along with as you listen. This is pretty cool!

Some great suggestions here! Here are a few others that haven't been mentioned:

Mozart - Requiem
Telemann - Tafelmusik
JS Bach - Double Concerto for Oboe and Violin
JS Bach - Violin Concerto in A Minor
JS Bach - Goldberg Variations
Brahms - any of his cello sonatas
Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet
Wagner - Der Ring des Nibelugen

Lots of great suggestions.

I'll second the recommendations of both Mahler's 1st symphony and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Two of my all time favorites from any music genre

For something different:

Arvo Pärt - Tabula Rasa
Ralph Vaughan Williams - Mass in G Minor

It's easy to repeat (Beethoven's 6th, 9th, 3rd, Dvorak's New World, The Moldau by Smetana, Mahler's First and 2nd, etc. are all favorites.

A few that haven't been mentioned:
Stephen Hough's recording of Hummel's Piano Concertos in A minor and B minor is to die for. Much better than...
Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, another favorite
Brahms' 4th symphony is great too.
I also like Prelude to the Afternoon of A Faun by Debussy (especially the old NY/Leonard Bernstein version, which is out of print)
Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto and 2nd Symphony (in that order, and it's not close)

On the link to the schedule posted above, I see that exerpts from Carmina Burana will be streamed online @ 4:01PM today. It seems to be a favorite of many here. I attended the live recording of this piece by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra a few years ago. If you ever have an opportunity to see it performed you should jump at it. It's a grand event.

Props to the Pines of Rome suggestion!

Heard it at Meadowbrook a few summers back with the Detroit Symphony and the antiphonal brass on the sides -- WOW!!!!!!!

This one is also good with a good stereo system and the volume cranked up to 11! Particularly the last mvt.)
