Danny the Indian from "Hey Dude"
For those of you who used to watch Hey Dude back in the day, i am sure you remember Danny (real life name Joe Torres). IMDB had him listed as dead for several years from cirrhosis of the liver, but then I read on the IMDB message board that it was possibly just a sick joke because of the Indian stereotype of alcoholism. Does anyone know if this guy is alive or not?

According to his IMDB, recently, he's been doing camera work for Scrubs and some film that's in post production.
The profile gives no date of death or anything, so I'm assuming he's still alive.
