Yes it was. He was waving his arms around and grabbed Guillen's back as he tried to get around him.

How are we surmising this.

Was it when he held Guillen's shoulders when Guillen was trying to go for the ball?

Verlander still not stretched out enough. Tired in the fifth and it all fell apart in the sixth.

Matthews was trying to make sure neither him nor Guillen fell down, I am ok with them not calling interference there

This looked like the kind of outing that would turn his season around in the first couple innings. I hate to make excuses and feel free to tear me apart if you disagree, but does the fact that he got absolutely no run support factor in here? I would assume that he would feel the pressure in the sixth innning with no runs on the board and down two and that could explain some of his problems. Maybe its just me, but it seems like JV never gets much run support.

Lack of run support is definitely a factor, but not the only one.

Even if we lose... 4-2 homestand is still successful.

Here we go.. 3 innings to get 6 runs is do-able. Yeah yeah, they have to keep them off the board as well. Very do-able... let's go TIGERS! Ordonez, Cabrera, Guillen up...

I've seen way better throws in the Little Leagues. Could be the Anegles know he can't throw and thus sent the guy home.

His off-season training regimen needs to be looked at.
