While I would not like him to kill the man, I would like to see McCarty get out there, kick some ass. This is always when he plays his best. Dress him. Put him on the 4th line with some minutes. Not allot, but some to mix it up.

Gotta take advantage of the new rules in game 3.

You mean like this?
YouTube - Mike Ribeiro diving, pretending to be hurt, w/more footage

God, I miss Marty Lapointe.

not for the 20 mil Boston paid him. What a stupid organization -- sign LaPointe for a ton of money, but let our two best players leave (including Joe Thornton)

Ratings? I haven't been able to watch a single second of this series. VS? How many homes is VS in the US? Sure wish FSD would carry some of these games. That dirtbag Melrose admitted they had to rerun the tape 4 times to find the infraction by Osgood, they sure didnt have to rerun the baseball swing that he suffered though. There has always been an unwritten rule about protecting goalies, i guess that got thrown out the window for the sake of ratings.

that unwritten rule is very equivalent to the NFL protecting its QB's.

I still think the ruling was a joke
