Thumbs down "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is the most depressing song ever

I get off my rotation today around 5:45 and drive home in the pouring rain and gloom...to top it all off "Total Eclipse" is on the radio. Great.

It's even more depressing when sung by a bunch of drunk RCMBers at Crunchy's on a Saturday night.

Watching the drunks of the RCMB singing any song can be very depressing to those who are stone cold sober when the witnessing said singing.

I loved their follow-up appearance in Starsky & Hutch. What did they parody in that one? It was at the bahmitzva.

My vote:

'Now there's a guard and a sad old padre, arm in arm we'll walk at daybreak and then, I'll touch, the green, green grass of home...'

Honestly, as hokey as it looks now, that's a great example of the 'golden age' of music videos. Recording artists suddenly had to make the leap to visual presentation of their music. As I recall, the best thing about them was the fact that you could finally see the people singing the songs you heard on the radio.

I was in a depressed mood today. I dug up Ugly Kid Joe's version of Cats in the Cradle. I love the song but it is very depressing.

I don't even know where to begin on that statement.

Did you have the risque cover or the re-issued one
