i guess you weren't watching during football season. i was tearing people a new one left and right when they were throwing hoyer under the bus in the third quarter of every game. i also said D was a great hire because MSU will always be more successful with a more physical approach to the game than a speed and air approach as they tend to only recruit michigan and parts of illinois and ohio sparingly. i think the bigger thing, though, is that i never go out there and say **** Michigan State blablabla. i argue with people when they make comments about michigan that aren't thought out but i don't go on here ripping on MSU. yet im the biggest "shtick fruitcake" apparently. **** i'm not even as bad of a UM apologist as Big M. i just dont drink the kool aid on this whole RR thing and prefer a middleground on things that many posters on here are incapable of
All of that is fine, but I lost a lot of respect for your claim of being "a Michigan fan first, but a MSU fan otherwise" when you posted that you "really hope Dantonio leaves MSU for WVU, because that would be hilarious." I distinctly remember you posting that when there was slight rumor of WVU being interested in Coach D. If you really cared about MSU at all, and are supposedly happy with the hire, why the hell would you say that?
It's cool that you like UM football, but don't try acting like you care about both programs when 99% of your posts are pro-UM/anti-MSU and when you say that you would love Dantonio to leave MSU. That's why people think you're a schtick.

Not solid. Exactly what part of those comments was complimentary of MSU in any way? Fact is this guy frequently runs MSU down and performs a blowjob on anything UofM related. ANY time any sort of comparison of the schools is made you can see him cherry picking info and doing anything possible to make MSU seem lesser than scUM.
He has nothing to offer of any value and thus counts as a schtick.
i actually went to both. i got my masters at MSU. head-to-head i root for michigan but i actually went well out of my way to go find the msu football games because i didn't have cable and watched every basketball game down the stretch. of course you can only be a "true fan" of MSU if you are willing to stab yourself in the stomach rather than have dual affinity apparently.
It's like someone saying he likes both girls and boys...but he chooses boys if he has a choice. It doesn't really raise him to a higher level.

the specific reason i said it is because people have explicitly labeled dantonio a savior who will never leave and wvu a hell hole. the two combined would be comedic. would never happen but, obviously, comedic. and again, i'd love to see one anti-msu comment i've blatantly made.

But you dont just pick things that are completely bias. Ill let you in on something, I am not bothered by Big M at all. I think he catches more flak then he should and usually says perfectly fine things and does a good job at weathering delusional posters. You however, dont. It sticks out enough that I have made comments to you several times about it. I have actually defended Big M a couple times on the other hand.
