Nichol is all rumors,
Dixon is not a surprise. He was never going to to see significant time on the field as an MSU QB.

piper is the same one who told us it was a mistake to fire JLS, then proceeded to provide verbal fellatio on him for months after. He makes blanche look like Dick Schaap

PREDICTION: Rich Rodriguez will be fired or leave his job in disgrace. 'His players' won't save him from his own incompetant coaching. I really hope they give him three full seasons. 10/31/8

It would be crazier news if it was Cousins leaving

I thought I had this new coach figured, I thought we hadn't had someone with his honesty and integrity, I was wrong and I'm old enough that I should have know.
Cousins, Foles do the right thing, walk.

Well if you want talk fairness, then either one of them can step up and win the job. Cousins or Foles are not bigger than the program and they have done nothing to have their status and role within the program to be set in stone. It seems to me Dantonio is willing to look at all options in terms of bringing in the talent. For that, I applaud him.

Remember Big M still thinks the Fab Five and Steve Fisher were framed.
I won't believe anything about Nichol until I hear it from him (on the radio) and anything on Nichol to MSU I hear it from Dantonio. (at a press conference)

In the interests of accuracy, I have been outspoken on this board and UM boards that the Ed Martin/Steve Fisher thing was a huge black eye and Fisher and anyone implicated should be banned from the school. So please get your facts straight before you project your UM fan stereotypes on to me.
Thanks!

Big M, We haven't forgotten your pre FBI posts
Nichol loves the drama. I know people who are close to the family and they have said Mrs. Nichol liked the idea of her son at MSU ( take it as second hand stuff) but she wasn't on the weekend in Norman.
I think a bigger issue is whether his father and HS coach Noel Dean can swallow some crow if he would end up at MSU. (Which has not happened as of 23:17 on 15 May 08.)

Shouldn't you be worried about your new coaches lawsuit and you LACK of a QB. But instead you show your obsession with MSU sports by chiming in on this issue.

Also, dickrod will be changing his offense to meet the capabilities of the players and the level of competition. He is a D1 college coach, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he will add in more pro-style schemes knowing that his qb will be killed in the big ten.

When he was hired Dick Rod stated that he would not be adapting any of his schemes to fit the talent or ease the transition because "we don't know how to play any other way."
