I don't want to read 18 pages of this crap. Can someone sum it up for me?
There was a spartanmang report that Nichol was coming to MSU? Reported as a done deal?
What happened then?

Spartanmag says it was a done deal. People took the info and came over here. Spartanmag got pissed. Nobody had confirmed the report with the family. Story got pulled. No new news on it.
Posters have gone nuts on here for 18 pages of the dumbest stuff you will ever read.

He would still have to sit out a year anyway

Info gets posted over here
SpartanMag pulls article while also getting ticked at RCMB poster
SpartanMag guy says he feels his sources are good but retracts to check w/family
Mass RCMB specultion ensues. Posters begin lining up for imminent Pro/Anti Nichol DSF
Poster gets upset thread title changes to conform to the current situation. Mods needle poster a little.
At current there is no SpartanMag article saying this is confirmed, leaving the MSU Recruiting fans with a whole lot of nothing.
Do I have that right?

Keith Nichol thread update Reader's Digest version: Spartanmag reports K Nichol to MSU imminent. Info gets to RCMB. Spartanmag pulls story due to lack of confirmation.
18 (and counting) pages of ifs, buts might be and could have beens regarding K Nichol but no news.

I would just like to interject a bit of "football talk" (I know, I know..crazy!)..but, when I saw him play the first or second game of his senior yr again Lansing Sexton, that was the best performance I have ever seen by a HS QB in my life. The kid has skills.
Whether or not he is "Fredo" does not matter, nor should it matter. He was an 17/18 yr old kid. He Fed up. I am 24 and have done some stupid **** in my life. Get over your selfs. He didn't do anything, personally, to YOU. He made a decision and is now thinking that was not the best move for himself and wants to make amends for that. If he were to come here and lead this team to a Rose Bowl there isn't ONE person who wouldn't be blowing him like he was the savior of MSU football.
Just be glad that is the type of person would can forgive and also can see talent. KN is a fantastic QB and would be perfect in 's offense.

No, he didn't say that.
And you obviously have no clue about how this crap works.

Pull in the truck.
We have spotted a Charter Member of the K. Nichol Sunshine Club.
| Nichol, Keith | QB | 6-1 | 186 | SO |
Hoyer, Brian QB 6-2 212
Cousins, Kirk QB 6-3 197
Foles, Nick QB 6-5 243
Did Stoops ever tell Nichol where the weight room was on campus? A 186# soph tells me K Nichol was a 165-170# freshman and should have been a redshirt where ever he went.

I read some article where KN's dad was saying that he's now 6'2 205.

Yeah, I am the charter member...yep...me, myself, and I. If you read what I wrote, I saw the kid play, albeit 1 game, he was the best QB I have ever seen with my own two eyes.
Also, as another poster pointed out, the article that was on the 'Mag the other day said he was 6'2"/6'3" and about 205. So, unless you have seen this kid and asked him to step on a scale, I am going to say his father knows a bit about his son

Why the F would this kid want to come to a school whose fan base absolutely torched him? Some of the hate spewed about an 18 year old kid around here when he backed out was disgusting. Kudos to him if he can look past that and still want to play here.
