It will be good to have some depth at the Quarterback position for the next 4 years or so. Lets hope it works out with the four guys we will have after next season. Just need to find some people to block for everyone coming in for 09.

Didn't Nichol decommit when we fired JLS? I never understood the anger at Nichol when that happened. Coaches change, and kids change their mind, happens all the time.

I actually like the decision... plus it does take a lot of pressure off maxwell, and he can be red-shirted and learn from the QB's in front of him.....
phew... glad I haven't posted anything bad about KN..... I don't have to eat crow now!!!

same here. He's a kid, 17, 18 years old when he's trying to make this choice. I just don't understand the malice.

Add Buddy I pulled the Nichol story ... Reply
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I should have gotten in contact with Gary Nichol before running the story. I believe that the sources I had were sufficient to run the story but this isn't CNN and things tend to get sensitive. There is nothing that leads me to believe that my sources are wrong, but I think it was premature to run the story.

grow up, it wasn't like that.
he thought he had the chance to start as a true frosh at a major bcs contender, he winds up losing to the #1 passer in the country. he made the best choice he thought he could at the time.
