"The Office" Season Finale

Damn. Lots of stuff packed into one episode. Reaaaally didn't end how I thought it would. I have a feeling that there are going to be some repercussions with the whole art school thing.

Well, if they ended up getting engaged, it wouldn't be a big deal. I see Jim moving into Ryan's job to NY with Pam.

And to Michael.....

Andy wasn't in that episode until his proposal. I like that his parents just happened to be there.

Michael's song wasn't ridiculous, but it was solid. His best was his gift to Toby.

But I can't make an "Office" post without mentioning the credits scene.

She seemed pretty upset that Jim didn't propose...and they didn't say whether the school she got accepted to was in NY or Philly I don't think?

Michael is a moron...and for the first time it wasn't because he was acting like a jackass.

Credits scene? What was it?

I loved Angela's response to Andy's proposal
Angela: "Okay"
Andy: "SHE SAID YES!!!"

Andy is hilarious.

And I totally called Tuna putting the ring back in his pocket--I HATE THE WAY THESE CHARACTERS ARE SO OBLIVIOUS AND DUMB SOMETIMES!!! Michael makes the biggest mistake of his life not making any actual moves when it was so effing obvious to move forward on Holly-gram () and poor Jim spends all that money on fireworks for naught.

I hate the way these shows make you think something will progress, something will move forward, and things will get better for these characters, but nothing ever does so that they can make another episode.

Oh well, that's how we get to watch another season. If Jim and Pam actually figured their relationship out in season 1 what would I spend my Thursday nights doing anyway.

I so want to not tell you....just make you stew.

But...I relent....

Phyllis is walking back into the office after cleaning up from the party. She steps off the of the elevator, and immediately has a concerned look on her face (I'm thinking, okay, Angela is gonna pop her in the face). We hear a sound. Phyllis gets closer to the door, it's grunting. She enters, lights shine towards the sound.....a naked Dwight turns around with a shocked Angela.

Dwight was what she said, in a manner of speaking.

I guess not, but this was the conversation they had in the break room. I thought New York, but the Job Fair episode did mention both....If it's Philly, maybe Jim gets a job with the Eagles/Sixers?

It was sad at first, but ever since the hand placement in Night Out....I've actually found myself hating Toby, (though I've loved him almost all the time besides the Pam talk), with the **** with Jim and Ryan. Now I'm like Michael. Goodbye stranger!

Good episode. I think they set themselves up nicely for a few fresh story lines next season (fresh, not necessarily new) - Andy/Angela/Dwight, Michael/Holly, Jim probably following Pam to New York, which means they'll probably be some new character development at corporate. I just hope they don't drag Jim's proposal out until the end of next season.
