I didn't. Frankly, I couldn't really blame him for de-committing at the time - it's something that seemingly happens to all programs when there's a coaching change of some sort.

The Nichol trashers are just like the scUM fans who blasted Boren after he bolted from the wolves.

I didn't rip him, but I ripped HUGE for encouraging him to go there, only to find out he should have stayed at MSU.

Welcome home Keith!

On another note, we're finding out everyday that Dantonio is a class act and a team guy! He accepted this kid back with open arms, putting the program ahead of everything else!

Buenos dias, mis amigos y amigas

Stopped worrying about recruiting a few years ago. Kids come. Kids go. No sense bashing their decisions about which school they want to attend. If their first choice doesn't work out for them, hopefully they get a second chance.

Never. Nichol was always my first choice at QB. I like QBs that can actually move a little, unlike Hoyer. The only person I trashed was our mac level coach JLS. I wanted him canned from day 1. I never blew sunshine for that loser. The scorned Keith crybabies are the same sunshiners that loved JLS and his ineptitude.

Pretty sure I never trashed him. I did say I thought his dad handled the situation poorly and I remember many times after the fact telling others to let it go as they continued to trash Keith himself long after that happened.

This thread should be way longer than it will be(at least if people are honest). But yeah, don't bash recruits, pretty simple.

Never trashed Keith. Quality kid. Quality family. Made a decision that had to be made when JLS left for greener pastures (i.e. highly paid vacation).

I'll sign up. I don't think I ever got on him. Maybe I did, but I don't think so.

I don't think I really ever trashed the kid. I do remember defending him to an extent on here though. People put way too much faith into a decision made by a 17 y/o kid.

Ain't that the truth. I think its exciting to see a bunch of 4 stars coming to MSU but they could as easily flop as could a 2 star rise into a legit NFL prospect.

To this day I thought the initial situation was handled poorly. But that is on his dad and not on him. If his dad would have either stayed quiet or at least given some sort of sit down meeting to Coach D I think it would have saved Keith a lot of grief that he received from a lot of delusional MSU fans. Oh, and when I say delusional I mean ANYONE that was completely bashing the kid including "Keith Nichol is dead to me" sig lines.

nah. It sucked, but he was a kid who just made a poor decision. Glad he's (hopefully) coming home now
