Oh Crap! Mike Hessman already has 18 Dingers!

...For Toledo. We need this guy up playing in Detroit. Outstanding defense too at 3rd base. Batting .305 too.

The Toledo Mud Hens

SP Eddie Bonine is 8-0 this year with a 3.09 ERA. When is he going to be called up?

This Toledo squad looks pretty good.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Hessman has been doing this for a couple of years now. He absolutely destroys AAA pitching, but when he gets called up he'll hit .235 with slightly above-average power numbers.

Also the players we have called up are already playing well. The rest of our players have little options remaining to "send down".

Maybe true, but any power would be nice, the new murderor's row has gone more than two weeks without a homer with a runner on base and just about all HRs have come from a AAA callup.

I would rather bring up Larish to DH against righties and retire Shef.

I agree that Shef needs to retire. We have better options.

At least put him on the DL. I think Larish is ready and could inject some energy into the team.

Send some high paid under achievers to AAA for a couple games...

That would be funny.

Shef to the minors for Hessman...

You can't just "send" Sheff down.

He's Rob Deer/Marcus Thames at best. At worst, he's a career AAAA player.
