Yea it's a nice win, but nothing to jump around and get excited over. Win 5 of 6, and that would be something to get excited about, not just one win.

The players can't think like that, so why should we?
One game, one inning, one batter, one pitch at a time.

You have nothing to press. I respect you, and don't have problem with you. I see where you're coming from with taking it one game at a top, I just can't get too excited over this one win. The Tigers were bound to win eventually.

Matt Joyce has 4 home runs in 29 at bats - that is the equivalent of approximately 69 home runs in a full season

I am really struggling with the fact that we are going to take our best SP out of the rotation for a guy that is still getting shelled in rehab starts

I think Kenny will come down with a tired arm or Robertson will go to the bullpen before Galarraga is removed from the rotation.

Leyland has already said they are sending Galarraga to the pen

What he has said is irrelevant. You can't say that someone is going to go on the DL which I think is likely with Kenny.

well he'll just have to reconsider. i mean how could you pull your far and away best pitcher of the season and allow Nate and Rogers to continue to struggle to get past 4 innings of work? it just makes no sense and in the end Leyland won't be able to make that move due to public/media scrutiny. it would have been different if the team was playing well and was at least .500. if Kenny has another bad outing or two before Willis gets back, you can bank on it he goes on the DL
what's D-Train's timetable for a return anyway?
