It's amazing how many Tigers fans are at Chase Field

3-0 Matt Joyce!

This kid is a nice addition to our lineup.

Sheffield needs to go on the DL for 15 days and then spend 30 days in Toledo. If he can't get back to normal down there, DFA him.

Sadly, Sheff will likely be back in the lineup tomorrow as Leyland will likely go all righty vs the Big Unit.

I can guarantee there will be one left handed hitter in the lineup tomorrow.

Anyway, the left fielder tomorrow should be Thames.

I really wish he would start taking more than 3 pitches.

I think Pudge decides before the pitch whether he will swing or not regardless of the pitch. It could be a 1-2, 8 inches off the plate and in the dirt and he will still swing at it.

yeah - he gave him the EXACT same pitch as strike 3 earlier in the game, too. So much for consistency.

Didn't like Leyland leaving in Galarraga to face Reynolds. This isn't good.

Having a good time at the game here so far...2 rows behind the Tigers dugout. It's been pretty funny watching Verlander hit on the T-Shirt girls all night.

Only downside is I have to stick around for the Trace Atkins show with Winddancer after the game...
