It says it right in the article, they've got ****ty parents. They want someone to love them unconditionally. ****, that was my parents, I guess I was just lucky.

Idiocracy was right.
I seriously think we need a euthanasia or forced sterilization program if we want to save humanity.

I don't know about that, but more like an application process/aptitude testing to be able to legally reproduce.

Amen to forced sterilization - it seems the dumber people are, the more they reproduce. Of course, this opens a whole other can of worms on where you draw the line, but it would mean fewer children born into bad homes. Don't think it would have helped in this case, though, unless the homeless guy was a candidate.

Something is seriously wrong with the parenting of these children.

How 'bout the culpability of the boys/men in this?
17 guys had sex with these girls without using a condom?

Eugenics! Seriously, 85% of the world's population needs to be sterilized anyway, there's too damn many of us.

Ok, let's look at this again, it was these girls GOAL to get pregnant. They sucker some dude into bed, "hey let's ****". Do you seriously think any of those girls told the truth of their goal? No. They all said "I'm on the pill, don't worry about it" and those poor dudes believed it. Those men/boys were lied to and used, I think none of them should have to pay a ****ing dime.

The girls were wrong. Very wrong. However, each guy had an opportunity to control the situation by wearing a condom. I'm sure the girls lied to them, but they didn't put a gun to anyone's head to have sex.
And based on the actions of the girls, you would deny the right of the 17 children to receive financial support from their fathers? Take the blinders off. Regardless of how f*d up the situation is, the kids deserve to be supported by both parents.

Come on now. Do you honestly think this board will take the blinders off here? These are the same people who are advocating the forced sterilization of other human beings. You've got to just let this one go.

What's wrong with forced sterilization?
And, yes, I fully expect GoStateNate, or another poster, to jump all over me, arguing that men have no rights, that these women lied, etc., etc., etc., but I can't help myself.

QFT. Keeping this in mind, I doubt the homeless guy is going to be able to provide much support, at least initially. If you're trying to get knocked up, wouldn't you at least pick someone that would be capable of providing decent support for the kid? I hope there is coverage of the support hearings when these kids are born. This situation is so ****ed up that the hearings have to be entertaining.
Legal ramifications aside, this whole situation just makes me shake my head at society.

The article says the girls were planning on raising all the kids together.

This is why, when my daughter hits puberty, we're home schooling her. She'll graduate when she hits menopause.

Any of the boys expected to pony up child support, should be given first choice to take the child off the hands of these "mothers", raise the kids in their own families and make the girls pay child support.
Clearly these girls have no sense. The should not get to have their mommy fantasy subsidized by guys they deceived into this situation.
And YES, men's rights in almost all child cases are COMPLETELY screwed if the mother wants to screw them.

I seriously doubt a court is going to give physical custody to a homeless guy over the mother. It would defeat the purpose of looking after the "best interests of the child."

FIne.
Homeless guy aside.
Yes, assuming as good a home situation as the mother has.

If Rosie O'donnel can do it without a father so can these chicks. They were cunning, caniving, devious, and mallicious. If a woman gets the choice to keep or terminate, the man should have the choice to support or not.

As much as I hate the fact that fathers get no say in the abortion choice, this would not be a good thing. There are enough irresponsible fathers out there under current support laws. If a father has no legal responsibilities, we will see more unwanted pregnancies and ********* fathers when individuals decide that they can sleep with whomever they damn well please without fear of repercussions..
