Good too see I'm not the only one who hates family circus. Epecially the ones with that "ghost" Not Me. I used to draw up FC comics with other ghosts like "F--- You" and "My life is a lie!" and so on.

I still have a cut out FC comic (Dolly stands by the curtains, which are moving due to the nearby heat vent, and says "the curtains are breathing in and out!") that my sister drew Garfield (this was back in the 80s when he was still funny) in the panel saying "Is this the best you can do, Bil?"

I have always loathed Bil Keane and his stupid, unfunny, and ridiculously contrived Family Circus comics. The fact that Keane attacked Bill Waterson for wanting to take out full pages for "Calvin and Hobbes" as well as attacking Waterson again when he quit the business just makes me hate him more. Keane attacking Waterson is like Brett Ratner attacking the filmmaking of Martin Scorcese.

Bil's comics are generally about as shallow as they come, but I think there's an underlying theme to this one. You have Billy and Jeffy dressed up as Iron Man and Batman, respectively. What do they have in common? They're both regular people who have turned themselves into a "superhero" through hard work and a lot of money. Is Bil calling Sarah Palin a superhero? Is he telling us that Sarah will save us from an onslaught of villainy? That she will protect our country with strength and honor?

Oh wait, that's not Palin. Dolly is just dressed as the little known superhero "The Lesbrarian."

Some of those were pretty funny. Definitely a little more work than I put into mine, design-wise. Still, I try not to read my competitors. I don't want them to influence my game.

Thanks for reminding me to update mine though. I've been forgetting lately.

That one cracked me up too. The blank cartoon face is perfect. It just says "Eff you, Dolly".
