If you love Cuba so much, move to Miami. It IS Cuba. You'll change your tune after a couple of years. I find no grouping of people on this entire planet NEARLY as infuriating as Cubans.

I'm not saying I'd move there willingly, just of the choices presented, I'd choose any Latin country over any other, and they were all deemed to be Western . Anyway, I'm headed to Miami next month, I can't wait

Hey, if it's a vacation, you're gonna love it. If you're going to be there for the next few years, it's going to slowly wear on your nerves.

Any large city is going to wear on my nerves, that's why I'm in the burbs . The Latinos aren't going to be what drives me away though.

I'll stop hijacking the thread now.

Fair enough. Also in fairness, I'll have to make it clear that the "Latinos" didn't drive me away. The "cubanos" drove me away.

Bueno, pero los cubanos me quieren hacer a saltar fuera de un rascacielos!

Are my tenses right there? I can't really speak spanish anymore. I was nearly fluent before I lived in Miami, but after five years of listening to "Cubonics," I can't say anything correctly anymore.

You got the point across

And yeah, I have a hell of a time understanding them, but living in Puerto Rico and figuring out their Spanglish bull**** was a good prep course for Cuba. Not that I get to go there for the purposes of this thread

Really? Even with their uber restrictive laws and super strict court system?

St Petersburg or Moscow would be my first choices.

Second choice would be either Cairo, Egypt or Istanbul, Turkey.

i don't know what made you cop this little racist attitude about cubans but it looks pretty unflattering on you.
