Thanks Trevor. Building looks pretty awesome. Can't wait to see it in person. Anyone here if there will be tours or if it's open to the public?

Very nice. Coach D has a reminder of the weasels in his office. No mention of Perles Plaza.

When MSU hits a BCS bowl in the next 5 years, I think Sparty should be renamed Skandalarisy...
(FWIW, & no disrespect intended, but from that picture, I would nail Julie Skadalaris)

Amazing. Just what the program needed.

Wow.
That building is going to open some eyes. It makes me want to play football for the Spartans, and I don't even play football!
I think that much of the credit for this wonderful facility has to be given to President Simon. I think that she is demanding excellence from everyone around her, and the influence of that demand is very clear.
This is just what the program needs.

Sports Facilities
In 2006, Mr. Skandalaris provided the lead donation to Michigan State University to fund the expansion of the Duffy Daugherty Football Building. It was the largest financial gift in the history of Spartan Athletics. The expansion will focus on updating the football facilities by doubling the size of the existing weight rooms and adding a new lobby dedicated to showcasing MSU football history, as well as meeting rooms and new coaches’ office spaces. Mr. Skandalaris also serves on the Michigan State University Foundation Board, and has provided the lead donation to Duke University to build a field house at their lacrosse stadium.

Hopefully this is something that will be open on gamedays just like the athletic museum that's part of Georgia Tech's stadium. Great to walk through. GT had some cool interactive stuff and tons of info/pictures/trophies/etc. Great gameday activity. If you can afford to take 15-20 minutes out of the heavy drinking.
BTW, this new facility blows GT's out of the water.

It would be awesome if they would renovate the concourses at the stadium using some of those colors and treatments. As much as I love SS, the concourses are dirty, cramped and ugly.
