What has Best done, in comparison to what Ringer has done that warrants the complete faith in your belief that Best is better than Ringer?

While we're at it, let's exclude 2003. Hey now we're 2 for 2 in our last four games!!

The Spartans didn't lose to Hawaii in 2004...the refs just had a lot of money in their pockets to make it look that way.

He wasn't saying Best is better than Ringer, he's saying he thinks Best will outrush Ringer. I think both backs run for 100+, possibly 120+. Cal's D-line hasn't shown they can stop the run, yet, but we have a new D-line coach, some big, good, veteran DEs and a good group of veteran LBs. I don't know too much about MSU's ability to stop the run other than Greg Jones and Eric Gordon.

I think this is going to be a very tough opener that really could go either way...but I'm going with the Spartans to escape with a hard fought victory...26-24.

That's exactly what Riley and Cal did to Air Force last year in just 2 and a half quarters.
I don't think Michigan State is any better than Air Force.
I'm not sure if it's ignorance or cockiness, but you guys have no idea what's in store for you come Saturday.
You do remember what happened to Michigan at home when they played a PAC 10 team at home (Oregon)???
When healthy like this year.... we beat that same Oregon team at their home last year.
This year we have more talent than last year.

Really?
Did Michigan travel across the country and have a 30 point lead by halftime at Oregon ?
...and did Michigan State go into Ann Arbor and beat that same Michigan team last year ?
Please, show me something close for a comparison.

Did you see what I quoted? It sounds like Cal fans don't know much at all about MSU. Especially when you sound as cocky as you do. Claiming the transitive property as a reason for superiority doesn't work.

Well Ohio State is from the BIG TEN, the same conference as MSU, and they've been to the title game the last 2 years. Cal hasn't even sniffed the national championship game, so that obviously means that MSU is a far better team and program than Cal.

FTFY
Ohio State should be banned from playing in the MNC for a few years.... it's starting to get embarrassing.

Come on. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if Cal opens one up on us, but what the hell does this have to do with anything?

We were better than West Virginia last year...also Oklahoma. Our win over Pitt proves it.

So you can bring up a victory over Oregon as some kind of proof because they beat Michigan (a week after UofM lost to Appalachian State by the way), but if someone else tries to play your game it doesn't work because they aren't in the Big Ten. Your selective criteria sure is interesting.

You're destroying what otherwise could be a very interesting thread. Go away.
