Who's announcing the Cal game on ABC?
Anyone know? PLEASE don't say Musburger!

Is there anything that tRCMB doesn't complain about?
Musburger is fine with me.

I would guess Brent and Herbie will be in Atlanta for Bama v Clemson. My guess is Dan Fouts and Tim Brandt.
Edit: I know Gameday is in Atlanta, which doesn't always mean that Brent and Herbie will be there, but in this case, I think it is.

Last year, the location of Gameday seemed to have little effect on who called the primetime game. Herbstreet did lots of night game broadcasts in different locations.

I am well aware of that. However, on a national scale, that game (Bama v Clemson) is much bigger than MSU v Cal, therefore Musberger and Herbie will be doing it.

Last year, he did Gameday in Blacksburg, VA then hopped on a plane at noon and flew to Cal to call the night game.
He was in Cincinnati the next day for a charity event.
The guy travels.

I agree, there's nothing really wrong with this guy. He's sort of old school and corny sometimes, but I get a kick out of him.

5:00 kickoff PST would be awfully late for Mushberger. He would probably be blitzed on his 20th Old Milwaukee Light by then. Fouts is more likely, and far preferable.

It'll be Nessler's crew.

Bob "UM Homer" Griese....the same guy who said Desmond held on long enough for the 2 pt conversion against MSU in 1990? ....I thought these guys were supposed to be impartial? FAIL
Between he and Danielson....the 2 most opinionated color guys who never fail to show their allegiances----flat terrible.

I find it more enjoyable to turn down the TV volume and turn up Blaha.

I sure wish I could get him out here in California. I have a feeling that even if he were available via the internet, there would be a pretty good lag....
