This reminded me of something. With the move of the BTN on DirectTV to 610 I no longer see the overflow channels. Does that mean there won't be alternative channels this year?

Here is what I am watching:

1)ESPN Gameday
2)switch back and forth between scUM and Ohio State, though I will spend most of my time on scUM because it will be in HD (I don't pay for HD cable).
3)MSU @ Cal

There will be Alternate Channels. They just may not show up until something is on them.

I don't show the overflow channels, either. I'm hoping on Saturday, the 4 that I used to have pop back up magically!

You know, if you're going to go to the trouble of making a post such as this, you might as well adjust all the times so that they're all EDT (or whatever).

Stole this from a Badger board, supposedly came from a DirecTV question forum.

DIRECTV will continue to offer additional football games on "overflow" channels. The primary "overflow" channels will be 609 and 612. Additional games may also reside on channels 608, 611, 615, 617 and 623 when necessary. When produced in HD, DIRECTV will carry each "overflow" game in HD as well. Check your on-screen channel guide or BigTenNetwork.com for specific game assignments throughout the season. For a complete listing of DIRECTV's system-wide realignment of sports networks, click here

Yep. That's what's so good about the NFL waiting until AFTER LD weekend to launch.

Good to know. Won't have the new HD up and running in time but the new tv will at least be operational.

Well I highlighted all of the games that I think are either interesting or important. I think UCLA vs Tennessee a little Pac 10 SEC battle, Kentucky vs Louisville in state rivalry, U DUB vs Oregon(Pac 10 rivalry), Illinois vs Mizzou (Rivalry), Alabama vs Clemson ACC vs SEC rivalry, USC vs Virginia a little nice test for USC to play @ Virginia, Utah vs Michigan should be interesting, Oklahoma St vs Washington St caught my eye, and of course the most important game for all of us...

MSU vs CAL.

Hawaii plays at Florida. After the comments the now departed made about Tebow last year I'm looking forward to UH just drubbed about 84-3.
