could someone legally be partly responsible for not stopping someone clearly intoxicated from getting behind the wheel? i know that sounds odd to ask, but it doesn't sound impossible.

I was always the DD when at MSU! I felt that it was best if someone stayed sober just in case. I was always in high demand. For the current students at MSU I recommend you either have a DD or walk.
By the way I never drank but always had a great time, I even threw many parties at my house on Abbott too!

It was a 3 car accident, and the police haven't said she caused it all yet. It was also reported the guy who died wasn't wearing a seat belt, doesn't he get some blame for not wearing one? If he had, he would likely still be here.

Let's play out a scenario.

Let's say the woman driving was drunk, but was in her lane, and somebody changed lanes, didn't see her and hit her car, sent her into another car and then off the road into a tree, killing the guy and injuring the driver, and the guy who hit her and started the crash was sober. Who gets the blame?

if you supplied them, maybe....
what a sad and tragic f'ing story, though....

I remember being too young and too dumb for this common point to register, I do...I did it....

If you are drunk: do NOT consider yourself an option. walk. drunk-dial. hitch. whatever....dont die, and do not kill somebody else, either......I drove drunk probably 40 times and not one of them do I not thank God for having avoiding harm. I now have a built-in DONT button, and hope others will, too...
