To be fair, I suspect there are different flavors of ass. Sweaty hot cheerleader-moaning-your-name ass may taste entirely differently than say, Prison cell mate toss-my-salad-bitch ass.

Agree. Tsing Tao in China = good. Tsing Tao in US = crap.

I recall the original discussion being about the best beer for the cost in the world. Youre right though, Ameircan Tsing Tao is crappy, just like American Guinness tastes like licking old pennies, which interestingly enough is exactly the taste of...uh, never mind.

Fresh-out-of-the-shower-clean ass tastes the best.

FWIW, Tsing Tao is MUCH better fresh from the brewery. We were in Qingdao (Tsing Tao) last summer for a couple of days and got to tour it. Haven't tried the stuff they export here, though, so can't compare.

They both are terrible

I'm sorry but I travel to China a couple of times a year and, despite the 25 cents a quart price, I can say with absolute certainty that Tsing Tao is terrible. And, having lived in Asia for 4 years, traveling to almost every country, I believe all Asian beers taste miserable. What the hell do Asians know about making beer or drinking it for that matter? The people over here believe sweet wine less than a year old is the best and drink it like they're playing a game of flip cup at a frat party. I don’t know how many times I have been at an expensive business dinner and witnessed $200 bottles of wine being chugged in “one shot” style and the drinker exclaiming that it is not sweet enough. Ugh, these people have no alcohol sense having been raised on dollar a bottle fire water that has to be taken in shots because you dare not taste it.

I disagree about the beer but that was a great post

I thought Tsing Tao was pretty good when I was in China. Better than some of the other local stuff, and better/comparable than some of the other more international beers, like Heineken and Bud.

Beer snob aside: I love when I drink my Busch Light, and someone with Bud Light tells me it's like drinking water. I can't think of a beer with less flavor than B.ud Light. Don't be confused, I'll still gladly drink it. Just don't talk about anything else being watery

I'm not a snob, but I agree with this statement.
