Are you in the habit of tasting ass to be able to compare it to other things

After you've tasted ass once, that's good enough.

Well, at least that one would taste like a sweeter ass, I guess.

Tsing Tao tastes generic. It most certainly does not taste like ass.
Ass...ask for it by name.

Tingtao tastes better than any American lager made. It is a fantastic beer.

Not at a Szechuan restaurant.
They had Bud, Miller, Boddington, Sapporo, Tsing Tao and some other schhydte beer I can't recall.

That's not saying much.
I'd put Sam Adams Boston Lager up against it and it would easily blow away Tsing Tao.
TT tastes like Bud only with a worse aftertaste.

Pretty much. I certainly wouldn't spend $4 bucks for it here but when youre buying it for 60 cents a pitcher in China, there really isn't much to bitch or whine about.

Bud has no real taste to me. Tingtao is distinctive And it makes me want to drink another. Most american lagers don't.
Now my to favorite American beers are Rogue Dead Guy Ale and Bell's Oberon. I don't think there is a better craft brewer than Rogue. Their Hazelnut Brown Nectar is a beauty.

I was wondering how he knew what ass tastes like. I can think of about a million things I would rather taste.

For whatever reason, when I have had Tsing Tao in the U.S. it is likely to be skunked, which may have been the problem. I think it is pretty enjoyable but it is better fresh.
