I look forward to this trainwreck. I'm no MP hater, but he's biting off more than he can chew. He will be like a fish out of water.

I heard Phelps will be starring in the "cork soaking" skit. He can soak a cork like no other.

The problem is you have to sit through 15 snoozers to catch 1 good skit. If you're still awake its all good.

Exactly...I'm a little sensitive about this because I watch the show religiously and then people that haven't watched it in years think it sucks....
Sure if you watch the best of from the 80's-90's they won't show you all the crappy skits. Well there were plenty of crappy skits then and there are plenty now but the show is still great...

Should be a real winner, not that SNL can't suck it on it's own these days.

Nancy Kerrigan gave the most absolutely god-awful SNL hosting performance that I've ever seen, so at least the bar hasn't been set too high.
The Tom Brady sexual harassment skit was hilarious, BTW

yeah really. 99% of the skits are crap, 1% is funny and ppl are like "SNL rules, see this ONE skit".
You sit through not only a bunch of crap skits, but 30 minutes of commercials. How SNL continues to be on air is beyond me.

I'm not saying I've seen every skit and episode, but I'm no SNL hater.

Here's to hoping the writers do something magical with him. Listening to that guy talk is pretty painful. I would have to imagine listening to him try to be funny as SNL host is probably not up his alley. Amazing athlete, but certainly will never be confused as the brightest bulb in the bunch.
