Anyone else find it strange that this is the only classic game that the BTN shows that the Big Ten team doesn't win?

It was the birth of the BTN, arguably THE greatest upset in D 1 history, joy for Spartans everywhere....and a moment of silence for the death of the um football season that year. ....so much for those stupid seniors who came back to win a NC.

Too bad they had to settle on kicking MSU's ass instead.

I think it's effing stupid for the BTN to keep re-running that game. UM ****ting the bed against a I-AA team was a black eye on the conference.
As a UM hating State fan, it was glorious. But I think the Big Ten should be promoting the strengths of the conference, not its embarrassments.

As Trevor said an another BTN thread, they play scum losses because 10 different fan bases all take pleasure in watching the replays.

Yep, that's a year where he could have made millions. I'd be pissed if I traded millions for a mediocre season. He'll be fine in the long run. One career ending injury, and he'll be wishing he had that extra season in the NFL though.

True.
Hey, as a UM hater, I don't mind seeing it. I just think the BTN needs to PROMOTE its teams

Did it cost him the #1 pick? Let me know the next time MSU has a #1 pick or a win over UM.

I thought this wouldn't be funny anymore, but just like seeing a man getting slapped with a large fish, it will probably never get old.

I'm sure the Big Ten would try to tell you otherwise.
