External Hard Drive Suggestions
My iPod crashed and I realized that I didn't fully back up my songs. I figured it's time to buy an external hard drive.
Any suggestions for an external hard drive for around $100? Thanks

For under $100 you could get a hard drive big enough to back up 10 iPod's. Check slickdeals.net or sites like that for better deals.

if you've got an old harddrive laying around (most people do) you can just get an enclosure for it so you can hook it up via USB...not the fastest speed but for what you're proposing it won't matter. check out newegg and/or tigerdirect.
brand new 250 gig IDE HDD plus an external enclosure will run you about $65 shipped from newegg.

brand new 750 gig SATA drive ~ $100
brand new SATA enclosure ~$15-$30
enclosure is really the way to go in my mind because if you manage to fill up the drive you can just take it out and buy a new one to start loading on to.

I got a 500 gb Western Digital from Best Buy for less that $100 earlier this year. Odered online and picked it up - almost too ez.
