My Spartan is
#53 Greg Jones
Football Week 1 Big Ten
What will be the conference record after this first weekend of football? There are ten games scheduled and only Illinois and MSU are on the road. Purdue opens the season 9/6/08.

Illinois @ Missouri
Indiana home against Western Kentucky
Iowa home against Maine
Michigan home against Utah
MSU @ Cal
Northern Illinois @ Minnesota
Syracuse @ Northwestern
Youngstown State @ OSU
Costal Carolina @ Penn State
Akron @ Wisconsin

I believe the conference will go 8-2 with Illinois and UM being the only losses.

N. Illinois isn't nearly as good as it was a few years ago. Even Minnesota should be able to win that one.
