No, I think it's awesome.
All the people hating on him are missing the point. He does this **** tongue-in-cheek to make fun of *******s like TO.

For all their business savvy, the NFL missed a huge opportunity. 2/3 of the Who Dey crowd would have bought Ocho Cinco jerseys.
I agree, I just find it funny. If you get bent out of shape because of what an NFL wide receiver says or does when it isn't dangerous or illegal, I suggest you either pick up a newspaper or write a book about how to live a perfectly charmed and successful life.

I think its hilarious, the guy is just having fun and going to make a killing off the jersey sales.
OP why so negative about it? and I would say a terrible defense, injury plagued oline, and an off year from carson are what killed the bengals last year. TJ had an awesom year, but one year does not replace what chad has done for 5-6 straight years.
lighten up a little francis

Chad is a super douche and the only reason he does crap like this is because people pay way too much mind to his attention whore ways.

Because I'm sick of prima donna WR's who don't win jack **** get all the headlines from ESPN in this sizzle over substance world. How about a little love for good WR's who just show up, do their ****ing job and keep their ****ing mouths shut, oh and who happen to win as well, like Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress or even an Amani Toomer.
**** those losers like T.O. and Chad Johnson.

I agree that most people are idiots, thus, they lap up the **** that Chad Johnson feeds them. Sorry if I prefer guys that win with class over losers that lose with an All Eyez On Me attitude.

No argument from me.
But its not about whether you win or lose anymore. Its how good or flashy you look doing it. Just ask Johnson, Owens, Anna Kournikova, Michelle Wie and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I find its just easier to accept people are dumb, be glad your not one of them, and move on with life, than to get pissed over it.

not winning isn't chads fault. he has played his butt off for several years with the bengals. He is having fun with the game while he can still play because when he is done he won't have the stage with which to do it. and lets be real plax does not play the game and keep his mouth shut....

Of course it isn't. Nothing is ever Chad's fault for his apologists.
By the way, I wish he's be a real man and stand by his words that he wasn't going to play this year. It would do everyone a favor.

Yeah its never Chad's fault when they lose. A fact he's always sure to let everyone know.
Plax has only caught the winning touchdown in a Super Bowl against a highly favored opponent.....what has Chad done on a similar scale?
And yeah Plax can run his mouth a little, but its nothing in comparison the the out and out attention whoring guys like Johnson and Owens do.
But I guess they should let the entire world know when they score a touchdown.....after all it was all their doing. It wasn't like they had a QB who delivered the strike to them, an O line that gave them time to get open and defense that might have given them good field position to work with................................Its all them.
