outline your day tomorrow
Unlike many of you whose balls are viced by your woman's deathgrip, I'll be watching college football all day tomorrow. I'll start by waking up at 9 AM and getting a quality breakfast at the local Coney Island for $2.99. It's a full scale breffast - can't beat it.
I'll tune in at 11 AM once the LSU-App St game comes on. Should be somewhat interesting, at least for a quarter or so. 12 PM will roll around and I'll turn it over to Syracuse-Northwestern while also keeping an eye on LSU-App St, and whatever blowout BTN is showing -- possibly Ohio St and Youngstown? At 3:30 I'll switch it over to Utah @ Michigan and watch that one with great interest. I should have a decent buzz going at this point. There are no good games at 7ish, so I'll get in a nice powernap and be re-energized for ... the game. I'll call up the pizza joint and order delivery. I'll tip the guy extra since I'll feel genuinely sorry he has to work on this great day. Before I know it, MSU and Cal will be shown in all its high def glory in my living room and I'll be geeked like a pedo on Dateline right before Chris Hansen walks into the room.
Ahhh, it's going to be great. I love Fall.

Wake up around 6am (Pacific time), cook breakfast....see the food thread.
Turn on Gameday.
My wife is getting her hair did at 9, so I'll turn on the BTN, do some laundry & watch the kids. She'll be gone for a couple of hours.
Noonish.....tune in to the Utes tappin' dat ass! Tend to my tailgating faire....see the food thread.
3pm - start tailgating like a rockstar. Buddies should get here around then.
5pm PDT, watch the systematic dismantling of the Cal Bears.

Cross-flow. If it's not on ABC, it'll be on ESPN and vice-versa.

Arrive in East Lansing around 11ish, watch UF/Hawaii online via Yahoo, Utah/Michigan on ABC, you me, bar beers buzzed, wings shots drunk, waitresses: hot. Football--Cornell-Hofstra, slaughter. Then back to my place for a little nap before we hit the tizzown and watch MSU/Cal.

I'm not going to get to watch a ton of football tomorrow until our game. I'll be showing Dave around Philadelphia.

Will probably surprise my preceptor and go in tomorrow from 7am-6. Get home, watch the game, earn some brownie points
Everyone else is going to be heading up north for the weekend or staying at home watching their games.

WTF? Tell Dave I said **** Philly! It's opening day of college football season! You can show him around on Sunday.
P.S. I'll be back in DC in October 8-12. Any chance you make it down for drinks or something one night (maybe Friday)?

Good point. We still have to make our way to Center City to watch the game unless I spend $21.95 on GamePlan (or we go to another sports bar that won't have our audio or a ton of MSU fans) Damn WPVI.
As for making it to DC in October, we'll see. It's possible.

I will be at Redmond's Bar at 10:30 to eat a big breakfast and watch the Badger game. Beer will start flowing right around kick-off. Probably stick around there for the first half of the Michy game. Then go home and get both TV's in the living room fired up and watch Illinois/Mizzou and MSU/Cal.

about 11:30.... Breakfast of Cabo-Wabo and brown and serve sausage while watching Gameday.
around 1pm lunch/memorize Utah fight song.
Fish a little drink a little until 3:30pm attempting to pace myself.
Failed at pacing myself....nap about 6pm.
Snap awake to Thunderstruck blaring at 7:40pm
Repeat tequila...ready to go at 8pm.

Setting up my Projector and a side tv.. here is the itenary...
Pregame:
Coastal Carolina at Penn State: 11 am BTN
First wave: 12:00
Projection screen: No. 17 Virginia vs. East Carolina (upset special?) (ABC)
Silver television: Syracuse at Northwestern (ESPN 2)
Commercial breaks/floating channel changes: ( BTN)
Ohio State vs. Youngstown State
Iowa vs. Maine
Indiana vs. Western Kentucky
Wisconsin vs. Akron
Second wave: 3:30
NOTE WE WILL NOT GET THE USC GAME AS WE WILL GET REGIONAL ABC COVERAGE OF UM/UTAH
Projection screen: Michigan vs. Utah (ABC)
Silver television: Whatever game shows up on ESPN2, ESPN will not have a game at the 3:30 slot, nor will the BTN. Likewise, ABC is not scheduled to have a 12:00 game on ABC. We may get lucky and get the USC game on ESPN as reverse-mirror coverage.
Flex slots: 5:00
Silver Television: (Projection screen still taken up by MICH/UTAH)
Appalachian State at LSU on ESPN
6:45 channel change
Appalachian State LSU moves to projection screen (ESPN)
7:00 MINNESOTA VS. NORTHERN ILLINOIS GOES ON SILVER TELEVISION ( BTN)
Prime time: 8:00
Projection Screen: Michigan State vs. Cal
Alabama vs. Clemson - We won't get this game except for in game updates. Regional coverage of MSU/Cal instead.
8:30 Silver television:
Illinois vs. Missouri (ESPN)
Add in lots of beer, and pizza and it's going to be a hell of a day.
