Thumbs down New "taunting" rules

Apparently "excessive celebrations" are going to be even more tightly enforced this year. High stepping, dancing, diving into the endzone, etc. all = 15 yards now. ****ing ridiculous.

I could just see MSU getting a game changing 15-yarder for celebrating a sack or a 3rd down stop tonight.

**** the NCAA.

One of the worst rules I have ever heard, and to think that they actually agreed on it.

Don't have fun guys, that's the only rule. Wishing injuries on players is one thing, wishing it on a bunch of old *******s in suits is another.. so I wish for an EXCRUCIATING series of painful injuries on the entire governing board of the NCAA.

Who the **** are these *******s that they would aspire to be a part of this organization, and then drive it into the ground once they reach the top? Did they not LIKE football when they were younger 60 years ago? I guarantee the celebrations were just as frequent then. Jesus Christ. Let's send a bunch of mechanical emotionless robots out there and make sure they don't have any fun, God forbid they get excited about their teammates or get pumped up for the game.

The only excuse I can think of is justification of their massive salaries. With so many employees getting paid so much, they have to do SOMETHING every year, if only to say to the schools "see, here's why you're paying us all of this money."

Every year it seems like they're changing rules only to reverse themselves a year later after it's obvious they were stupid decisions.

And here I thought you whipped off your argyle and whipped it around over your head.

Trevor made removing any part of your uniform a mandatory penalty several years ago after Minnie got a little carried away with celebrations.

Don't get me started on the NCAA. I had a really great t-shirt that told everyone how I felt about them.

Sincerely,

Bowling Green just got hosed on an excessive celebration call. Player gets a crucial QB sack, does two fist pumps and gets a call that wipes out a real football play.

Oh, and Lou Holtz thinks it should be called, so it must suck.
