Anybody else notice that we didn't even throw a ball his way until the last drive of the half?

Every ball we through to him, he had 4-5 steps on his defender, and Hoyer was a little late on all but one pass (he has a hitch where he pat's the ball before every throw, after the announcers keyed on it, I re-watched most of the game and sure enough it was there).

He had a CB that was at least 4-6 inches shorter than him in single coverage most of the day.

I just hope it was the case of the coaches deciding that they were going to work on the ground game this week, and only use their star wide receiver when they felt they needed to.

BJ Cunningham made a nice catch, but he was being covered much better than Mr. Dell. I also thought he could have caught Hoyer's first pass if he would have layed out.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Dell as the season progresses. They did not really need his services yesterday what with the success of the ground game, but this guy is a star in the making. To be sure...we'll be seeing a lot of him in future games

This was Eastern Michigan. . . their is no reason to remind our up coming competition of how good our passing game can be. Also the running game needed the work. . . it struggled at times against Cal.

Dell was a monster against Cal. He'll be used when he's needed.

yeah, don't show all your cards during the Eastern game.

if we had passed 50% of the time, it would have been 60 pts easily

The one drive consisted mostly of two passes that took us from the 2 yard line to the endzone in a little over 2 minutes. That was with the BJ circus catch.

BJ/Dell are wicked good.
