you can say the ticket holder should have the right to resell the ticket how they choose. i say i have the right to think you're a complete *******.

True fans would just give their tickets to Spartans. Why bother selling them? Give them away to a rabid fan you know will use them and the seats will be filled with SPartans.

Because they paid real money for them No need to apply for sainthood here and take a loss, but if you do God bless you.

So? ARe we concerned about filling the stadium or getting the money? Give up the tickets, we are 6-1, and we don't want osu in the seats.

Season ticketholders paid $41 for these seats. You don't think they could sell them to Spartan fans for that? Just my opinion. Possibly a little more practical than yours That said, anyone who gives their tickets away deserves a night with Erin Andrews.

OTOH, those who sell their tix on ebay to Buckeye fans deserve a long, long night watching the Lifetime Movies channel with Pam Ward.

So, it is okay to SELL the tickets for face value? So it acceptable for true fans to not take a small loss of $41 for the team? a 6-1 team, playing osu?

So again...it's ok for MSU to sell to Buckeyes, but not ok for MSU fans to sell to Buckeyes?

Just checking.

You could make them fill out what school they would be cheering for, but I suspect even OSU fans are smart enough to lie. I'm pissed at our fans for not selling his bitch out yet.

You can justify the actions of these eBay sellers all you want, but the fact is, a true fan cares about who the seats go to, and these people obviously care more about what may amount to a little extra money (although currently not even that, looking at the prices).
MSU sold NCAA hoops tickets to alumni only - I know because I bought a pair. You're telling me they couldn't do the same for football?

Right now the best tix available are section 121 for 2 together. That is almost in the upperdeck corner. Hopefully more tix are getting bought up by Spartans and fewer by Buckeyes after yesterdays good Spartan win and the Buckeyes less than spectacular win. Wish they wouldnt have opened up these tickets to be sold individually already.

Look man, everyone's situation is different. I sold my extra ticket for a fifth of Jager that I will be sharing with the buyer . Sell or give the tickets away, I don't care how or for how much, just don't let them get in the hands of Buckeyes. We're on the same side here.

dunno, and honestly don't care. Whatever you say won't change the fact that sellers who peddle tickets on eBay aren't very good fans.

Sure, we are on the same side, and I'm not picking on you, you were the first to respond.

What I'm trying to understand from anyone.....not you.....is why is it okay to sell the ticket to a Spartan or trade or whatever, but NOT sell it on ebay. Sure, ebay, the ticket MIGHT go to a osu fan, but it might go to a Spartan.

I see it like this.....

Sell the ticket to a Spartan for face value = true fan

Sell the ticket on ebay = not a true fan.

Doesn't make sense. IF a person buys the ticket, they should have the right to sell it to anyone they want for anything they want. A lot of the people already had to shell out the ticket cost AND a donation.

And for the record, I have NEVER charged anyone when I couldn't use my tickets. I just make sure they are Spartan fans and are going to use them.
