Thread's still there. Mag is probably waiting until one of their guys actually speaks with Nick before doing a story or announcement

Nothing is set yet. You know the snake-oil salesman will be trying to steal this kid out from under us.

This is my biggest worry. If SCum offers him, will he be able to turn down the offer from his dream school to go to their rival? My gut tells me he will be able to. And when he does, it will prove to all of the blue bellies what we already know, that Dantonio is quickly turning this state GREEN.

Sweet Jebus, that kid has some wheels! I was impressed with his balance as well -- he showed a lot more ability to shed tackles than I expected.

Welcome, Nick!

That video on the Scout page is amazing. He's fast, athletic and very hard to tackle. (Love the punt return, breaks at least five tackles!) Welcome to Spartan country Mr. Hill, your gonna love it here!

I agree. Hill's size, speed, and abilities sound very similar to Quizz at Oregon State. I've seen Quizz play in person and tear up the opponent (last year against number 1 USC no less!!). Quizz excels behind zone blocking where he picks his holes well and he is so low to ground he's hard to tackle. Quizz won Pac 10 freshman of the year AND even Pac 10 player of the year....Imagine if Hill could even be part way as good as a freshman!

He probably didn't want to play right tackle.
