Michael Bay on Megan Fox - she's an ungrateful beyotch

Paraphrased, that is.

Us Magazine - Director: Megan Fox "Says Some Very Ridiculous Things"

Director: Megan Fox 'Says Some Very Ridiculous Things'

by Us Magazine    July 1, 2009

Megan Fox slammed "Transformers" director Michael Bay for focusing more on special effects than acting, but he doesn't mind.

"Well, that's Megan Fox for you," Bay tell the Wall Street Journal. "She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.

"You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it,'" he goes on.

Fox told Entertainment Weekly: "I mean, I can't s--- on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don't want to blow smoke up people's a--. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting."

Bay says he "100 percent disagrees" with Fox.

"Nick Cage wasn't a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in 'Armageddon.' Shia LaBeouf wasn't a big movie star before he did 'Transformers' -- and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from 'Bad Boys'," he points out.

Bay thinks Fox could be a little more grateful, though.

"Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers," he says. "I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."

Megan doesn't realize she isn't very smart.

If she doesn't learn to stop criticizing her own movies and quit the ugly body art the only gig she'll be able to get is "I'm a celebrity get me out of here."

That is unforgivable. For punishment, she should have to endure 45 seconds of me on top of her.

Will Smith was in this thing call "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" before Bad Boys.
Martin Lawrence also had his own sitcom.
You can say, yeah, they became movie stars after they did this movie, but Will Smith was inevitably going to be a movie star.

Shia LaBeouf had multiple movies before Transformers. While the Greatest Game Ever Played only grossed $15 million, it gets a lot of play on movie channels. Distubia raked in $80 million and probably brought Shia to the level he is at now.

Ben Affleck had this thing called "Good Will Hunting" that made him famous.

And most importantly, no NIcholas Cage wasn't a big actor when you cast him. He had just been nominated for 2 Golden Globes. Additionally, when you cast him, he had already been cast in "Leaving Las Vegas" which he would win an Best Actor Oscar for, as well as 11 other best actor awards for the same role.

Michael Bay = ********* who thinks he's the ****, when he makes ****ty movies.

I agree that Bay is mediocre.

But Fox is still a vastly overrated "actress."

Right. See Shannon Daugherty.

We have very little patience for bitchy brunettes.

Michael Bay movies are about special effects and not acting???

I thought he would have been more good-natured about how everyone views him - big explosions, etc., and less of a tool about it

Megan, I wonder how many roles you would have been awarded if "acting" were a quality they were looking for in your characters. I'm pretty sure Megan, you're hired to do 1 thing....and it's not act. It's to sit there an let me ogle you for a couple of hours. Can you at least try to not F that up?

Much ado about nothing... everyone already knows that Bay movies and especially Transformers are all about action and not much else. You know you're checking your mind at the door. I'll admit that after awhile of seeing all the actors basically just running for 2 and 1/2 hours IMO it got kinda boring.

Fox is really beautiful, but has done absolutely NOTHING to show she can really act, so until she shows she can do it on a serious level, she might want to be careful what she wishes for, since she hasn't even shown she can really act yet. Hundreds if not thousands of pretty women can run on camera and look pretty, but not everyone can act.

Fox should do some nekked stuff, you know, to prove she can really act and people would start taking her seriously.

The tats are a huge turn-off for me.

Not that I think she's too concerned about it.

What an arrogant douche. Michael Bay is a garbage director. Might as well not even have actors, just film a green screen for two hours. I hope he manages his money poorly and spirals painfully into obscurity and bankruptcy.
