Big ****ing deal. Saw this on the news, looked like CHER REN!!! was going to orgasm. All I saw was a redneck that was a decent guitar player and did a horrible Garth Brooks impression.

The fact that this is supposed to be an example of America having talent really shows how far the entertainment industry has fallen.

Wow - really? He was having a hard time staying on pitch. I really didn't think it was anything special. The Britain's Got Talent people blew him out of the water.

Agreed. I hate to be negative, but really, what did this guy do that thousands of others could do better? He did a good job, but the only reason he got on tv and advanced is because he's a redneck who catches chickens who can sing. BFD. I mean, I couldn't do it, but that's why i can be an ******* on the internet.

I think this was my favorite of this season. The audio gets a little off, but it's worth it.

This girl had a pretty amazing voice. Definitely doesn't fit her:

The whole concept of this "show" is to find a person, then manipulate every single variable to make them dress, look, and act in the most exaggerated way possible.
Then, everyone is "shocked" when they perform in a direct contradiction to how they have been fabricated to appear.

In a way- they were better singers, this guy's had more feeling behind it, I thought. As far as pitch, I didn't notice any issues at all, granted my speakers don't get very loud. Off the subject here, but I did think Adam Lambert's pitch was all over the place pretty frequently. I'd rather listen to a simple voice like this nine times out of ten over a truly great singer that constantly feels the need to show it. Different strokes.
EDIT: Is a farmer ever really employed? What constitutes an unemployed farmer?

There's so much corporate farming going on that a lot of small family farms are being bought up by big companies and the family is left to continue farming as an employee of the company.
Hopefully this won't send the thread to Wells.

Yeah, this *****'s performance was a much bigger deal. I did NOT expect her to sound like that.

...probably unemployed farm worker. Very few farms are run only by family members even "small" farms.
