That's what makes European versions of everything good. They see TV series generally as complete works of art. They don't pimp every one of them until they're no longer profitable and then cancel them - most have a planned run of a season or two, have a well planned out conclusion and a complete story that is maintained throughout the series. But American TV isn't European/Australian TV.

Are there shows that this doesn't apply to? It's a work of fiction.

And certainly better than any other NBC comedy they have going. Plus, Andy Bernard is my hero.

30 Rock is better than the office.

Maybe my sense of humor sucks, but I think last night's episode was really solid.

I was not impressed with last night's episode at all.
However, I do feel that with Michael and Jim now on even ground, some great storylines will open up.

Then you should give up on the show. It was a classic. It was funny, and yet it still advanced the plot, unlike most episodes, where there is little to no forward progress.
The cheese scene....

Thought the episode was great, and that added grit and seriousness to Jim for one of the first times which was fun to see. I thought Jim was going to rip Michael a new one.

I love that they keep exploiting Andy's sexual inadequacy. It adds great depths to his character.

That whole thing last week about him questioning his sexuality was hilarious.

Dwight's invention...
You can either get six regular-sized hamburgers, or 12 sliders from a horse without killing it.
