Did anyone see this week's episode, "The Mafia?" I'd be curious to hear what you guys thought of it. I didn't really think it was all that funny.

Kevin talking about prison and farting in Jim's office was good. Andy as the mechanic was funny.
Overall not a very good episode though. I think it will continue to be hit or miss this season.

One of the things I liked about "The Office" was that, by far, the plots/subplots were believable. The entire "Michael Scott Paper Company" thread from last year struck me as incredibly unbelievable. The idea behind "Mafia" wasn't bad, but again...a tad unbelievable. Kevin's joke to Oscar about prison was predictable, but he did have some funny stuff elsewhere in the episode.
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were all pretty good. Season 4 had some strong episodes ("Dinner Party.") Season 5 had promise, especially with the arrival of Holly. But now, Holly is nearly off the show, Jan hasn't been seen for a while, Jim and Pam are married, Dwight isn't like he used to be, and it seems like the writers are out of ideas.
By the way, where the hell is Todd Packer? They need to get him back ASAP. He hasn't had a dull scene yet. ("Either this chick is a dude, or Halpert went and got scared straight!")

I think Kevin has gotten funnier and funnier. The show where he was answering phones past season was classic.

I agree this was a pretty bad episode. Jim is starting to become way to much like Micheal.

This show has been on a sharp decline over the last two seasons and tonight was it, The Office is dead to me.
And is it just me or has Pam become a complete ****** this season? Nothing like taking one of the worst characters on the season and making her the focus on an entire episode. This week reminded of all those times the Simpsons' had a Lisa episode and I wanted to change the channel, didn't, then 30 minutes regretted it.

I agree! This was a good episode. I wish Pam's mom was in it. I thought she was a hot cougar!

You people are crazy, I thought this episode was hilarious. Pam's reaction was awesome.

Jim's reaction was great, Pam's was not. Her character has strayed too much from what she used to be. I like the transformation of Jim into Michael when he's talking to the entire office.

Jim yelling at Toby to GET THE **** OUT was great.

My thoughts exactly. The previous episode flatlined a bit and this one was worse. Kept hoping for redemption but it never came.

Pay no attention to the ones who watch a tv show and race to the interwebs to voice their displeasure. These people have already been parodied to death on the Simpsons.

I thought it was a pretty strong episode. Pam's character is in decline, but this was one of Jim's best in a while. Also, the scene where Michael asked if he was that bad of a person in the conference room reminded me a lot of the scene in take your child to work day when the audience actually has some sympathy for him.

"Who's your worm guy?"
Otherwise, this season hasn't been that great. The wedding episode would have made a good series finale.
