Don't bother buying the small, it is the most mis-sized item I have ever seen. I'm about 5'10" and the shirt runs to my mid-thigh. It looks ridiculous. I am torn right now, because you can't get much smaller than small. I really, really want the shirt, so I might try to wash it and hope it shrinks a little. However, there is a 90% chance that that won't work and I'll be stuck. It is really disappointing because I ordered a small Nike Spartan Pride t-shirt from Spartantailgateshop a few months ago and it fits perfect. It must be either a mistake or maybe it is just the fit of the shirt.
Can someone who orders this shirt from e-bay after the re-stock post in this thread regarding the size? If it is a better fit that would be awesome, and I can just return the one I ordered.

I tried them on at SBS and I am 6'2 and a small fits me fine. I should be wearing a Large. These are mis-sized so bad its not even funny. They all run like this no matter where you buy it from. I am buying a small tomorrow at the SBS but I am holding off on the hoody since they didn't have them in stock so I have no clue what size I am

Can you still return it?

Dicks in both Eastwood and Meridian mall have all the shirts in this thread.
I got the green 3pt stance shirt along with the gray Gruff Sparty one, both are extremely long. I think its the style and not mis-sized.

was at SBS on thursday and NIKE rolled out some very impressive hats. I must think it has to do with our success in basketball; as they are selling this at this time. There are about 5 brand new hats, all are sick. Gruff Sparty made a couple of appearances, and they looked, well, gruff. Delvon Roe approves!

The only way I can figure that IWU could get away with that is if Gruff Sparty isn't a protected MSU trademark. It may not be, according to the MSU Licensing Programs site:
Quote:
|
Common MSU trademarks include the official University logotype, Contemporary Spartan Helmet, Sparty Mascot (full-length), Block S, Spartan Football Helmet, MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY, MICHIGAN STATE, MSU, MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS, SPARTANS, STATE, and GO GREEN/GO WHITE. Michigan State University is also known as Michigan State, MSU, and State.
|
Seems a damn shame if Gruff Sparty can be used by anybody.

I think so. I ordered it through eastbay and it was back ordered for two weeks. They have the return label already printed so I believe I can just slap that on there and send it back.

At SBS I compared a medium gruff sparty shirt to another Nike shirt that was an XL and they were about the same size.

They'll refund that money if the item is defective. I think if enough people send the shirts back and mark the reason for sending it back as defective then the money should be refunded. I don't understand how they get away with charging you for a return...

TeamCaptainJohn - where did you find that hat? Is there a link to a store that sells Gruff Sparty hats?

They are paying for the shipping that is what they are deducting.

I realize that, but I've ordered from Nike.com before and when I returned the item Nike covered the shipping. I just don't think it's good business. Why would I risk ordering from EastBay.com again if I know that if I don't like an item, then I have to pay to return it.
