Like someone else said before the zipper is a dealbreaker. I wouldn't want to unzip it and cut gruff sparty's head in half

My first MSU t-shirt had the school seal on it. You could get them until the early 90's, but I don't think I've seen the school seal on anything new in the last almost 20 years.

I'd have them buy it sooner than later. I have a feeling these won't be around for long in all sizes...

I was wrong. It's Old College Hall according to the trustees:

Seal

And now you know the rest of the story.

You can't even use the seal for official MSU business on campus these days without the approval of the Board of Trustees. They're technically the only people that are allowed to use it.

I used to have pennants for all of the Big Ten schools in my room as a kid and the MSU one had that seal. (I had the UM pennant upside down on the wall.)

Their 1997 co-championship shirt is becoming vintage.

And it probably wont even last half as long. Say what you want about Nike, but their stuff lasts longer than the cheaper brands. Now if what you bought was a Nike, then good deal.

I bought a green hooded sweatshirt last week for $25. Even if it only lasts a couple of seasons i;d be happy at that price.

It's Old College Hall, which was the first building on campus. It used to be where Beaumont Tower is now. They archaeology dept. is actually doing an excavation of the site and found a bunch of artifacts from the original building.

Anyway, super excited to see Gruff Sparty making a comeback. I love the seal, too. Not sure why MSU refuses to build on tradition by ignoring those two logos.
