Glen's avg. is 23 yards a kickoff. Yeah- He's irreplaceable.

Never said Jimmerson was....but people acting like Winston is anything special on returns is laughable.

Who said he's irreplacable? He's our best kick returner. That's why he's returned virtually every kick this year despite the availability of a 5th year senior in Jimmerson.

show me where I said Jimmerson was better?
Martin, White, Dell, Cunningham can all step in and do what Winston was doing. That's all I'm trying to say.

There were several posts saying our kick return game will suffer. And he's returned every kick because the opponent, for whatever reason, always kicks to him instead of Jimmerson.

So it's your contention is that our opponents have actually been kicking at Winston & away from Jimmerson on purpose all year? Really? Illy just kicked at K-Mart rather than chancing the universally feared A.J. Jimmerson getting a touch? Really? You believe the receiving team has no control over who receives the kick? Really?

Heat- I've been to 5 games this year. Our guys don't switch. Why can't you believe this?

So if they don't switch, then you must believe everyone is kicking at Winston & away from Jimmerson on purpose. Does that really make sense to you?

One explanation may be that they'd rather have the slower guy that seeks contact returning the kick as there is less likely a chance he takes it the distance. I mean how many kick returners actually try to run defenders over ever chance they get?

You really believe the kicking team has total control over who receives their kick?

Seriously, tell this guy to play less Madden.
Kicks are 90% of the time within the hashmarks (in efforts to reach the endzone and get the greatest distance on the kick) allowing the more skilled returned (Winston) to get behind the kick.

No, I don't believe they have total control. But it's not like we line up both guys in the middle or we switch while the ball is in mid air. Winston lines up on the right and Jimmerson on the left. Everyone knows this.

Kickers can easily kick between the hash and sideline in college. Trust me

I know that from a personal level. And they would do that so the lesser of the two return guys returns it.
I love the kicking gurus stepping up now who've never kicked a football past 12 yards while drunk at a tailgate.

So a kicker can split the uprights from 55 under immense pressure but can't place the ball between the hash and the numbers?
