How good would state's b-ball team be if izzo recruited more than three states
I understand he didn't have to for guards / forwords , but recruiting more than three states for a center would have helped

Yeah, and we'd have like 11 Final Fours in the last 11 years instead of merely a pathetic 5.

Yea! What about Dexter Strickland from New Jersey! We should have gone after him!
What's that you say? We did? And we didn't get him? Why? Are you saying we don't just decide to recruit a kid, and he automatically plays for us? Damn.

When someone brings up our 5 Final Fours and how it took us 11 years to get to them, I just hang my head in shame.

Which 3? Michigan and Ohio are probably the top 2.
Shannon Brown was from Illinois
Zach Randolph was Indiana
Dahlman is from Minn.
Allen is from Georgia
Lucious is from Wisconsin
Byrd is from Indiana
How about other countries?
Donger was from Nigeria
David Thomas was from Canada
Maurice Joseph was too.
We just lost out on Jamil Wilson from Wisconsin, White from Minn, Franklin from TX and Dexter Strickland from NJ.
I think there is something to be said for Izzo recruits FAMILIES as much as players and if it ain't broke then don't try to fix it.

Which is why Izzo focuses on recruiting within a four-hour driving distance, so players' families can actually drive to a few games a season.
