Just witnessed this story on the news. I wonder when the first casket will be made, and when the first fan will purchase it.
Wal-mart to sell caskets and urns online

Glenn: So, I was talking to Nana on Saturday. Her birthday's coming up, and I don't know what to get her. She's gonna be 88...
Kyle: Get her a coffin.

“If someone wants to buy a casket online from Costco in California, they have to accept it,” Wesselhoft said. “But the funeral homes hate it because they (the national retailers) charge a third of what they charge here.”

This is awesome news. Would be even better if when my day comes my kids can wheel me up to Walmart and have me cremated for 1/3 the price.

Some things are better acquired in person where you can check the fine workmanship.
