Whoa! Iowa steals MSU's academic slogan
The Iowa promo that just ran had Tom Brokaw reading the script, and the last words were that Iowa "truly is transforming lives."
MSU's tagline for years now has been:
Quote:
|
Advancing Knowledge. Transforming Lives.

Doesn't it have to be three or more words in a row to count as plagiarism?

The best thing about that ad is that Brokaw dropped out of Iowa

We're not talking about a full text; we're talking about a trademark. I'm curious now if MSU filed a formal trademark.
