If there is sunny weather you'll be able to get tickets very cheap on game day and you'll get people bringing their kids because they are MSU or Western grads. Two schools with large alum concentration within a 100 mile radius.

You over estimate how many Bronco grads care about football and/or want to sit in near freezing temps for 3.5 hours.

I'll be there bright and early to tailgate.
If the weather is decent, I might get inside the stadium before the end of the 2nd quarter.

I'll be there...But I wouldn't blame folks for not going. I don't believe in the "turn in your Spartan card" thing...There is no fanbase in America that has been more patient, more understanding and more loyal than MSU football fans. 40 years of mediocrity and 40 years of Top 25 attendance gives many Spartans a free pass when it comes to football.

Spartan football is like voluntarily, regularly and eagerly attending a 3 and a half hour masochist session for 13 weeks every year in the Fall. Our loyalty is warped. So if there are those who have reached their threshold and want to use their "safe word" because they just can't stand it any more, I totally understand.

I won't be... XC State Finals! Watch my school win a title!

Made that decision a long time ago though.

I hope Spartan Stadium is packed. The team needs to know that the fans won't bail on the team because of a single underachieving season. I expect Dantonio to address the issues on defense after the season and hopefully his plans don't include Narduzzi.

If we lose against WMU then someone should make a T-Shirt which says
" Same ol Spartan football" in the front,
and the back says "but now with Pride before the falls."

Going to watch the high school playoffs. The kids will come to play, juiced. The coaches will do their best, make adjustments, score from the two, defend pass plays, and if they need to make a coaching change they will make it. When you stop to think about it, there's really no decision to be made.

Thumbs down depends

If the weather is bad--- 40s and rain--then we will have 40 to 45--no matter what the PA guy says. (I know that they have sold most of the tickets already) Some wmu people will come hoping that they can pull a central like win out--but they will not come if the weather is bad. (they do not care about their football team that much--especially one as bad as this one) gogreen!!!

Real supporters of the program would buy tickets from the box office to help support facilities and such.

I love the 'band wagon' references.

What ****ing band wagon are you refering to?

also, for those who don't have tickets but want to go to a game. I can guarantee free tickets will be available before the game and they will be plenitful. So for those on a budget, take a chance.

My girlfriend isn't going, but I'll be there. I already scolded her with no sex for a week.

Iowa wasn't full until after about 7 minutes in the first quarter, so why would Western?

WMU fans have no confidence that this year's team will even compete, let alone win, especially if our top two receivers and best defensive player are still out.

I'm going just to party with friends, but the game between these two crap teams is going to suck.

Since MSU is only 3-3 in the big ten, it is time for typical sparty fan to give up. Seats will be empty.
