FWIW, you can get as many as 20 tickets together in the lower bowl as of two minutes ago

HUGE turnout today at SS...great to see that kind of turnout and support...and yes, I realize the weather helped, but that was an impressive showing by fans today

The only part that was empty was a chunk of the student section.

The funny thing is the weather report for today on 11/1 was the same as it was this morning: temps in the 50s and no rain. I guess some people figure that because it was cold during the last game it will be cold during the next game.

The fans brought it today. Now the team should really apologize for the Minnesota game.

No, the weather deserves credit. I took my daughter and her friend and we had a nice day. But I guarantee we wouldn't have been there if it had been in the 40's. I could take the weather but no way I'd drag a few 9 year old girls to it with me. So chalk up 3 more in attendance because it was sunny and 60s.

Um no. That's tickets sold. Probably closer to 65. Still pretty impressive though considering the past 2 weeks.

NICE JOB SPARTANS!

It was great to see lots of fan's walking around today. Nothing like a football Saturday in EL when Sparty has his game on. Thanks for supporting the team and the city!

No, thats how many were there.

When they scan your ticket, they add that up.

Dude, come on... I was there for the whole thing, when the game started there were about I'd say 100 (probably a little more) empty student section seats and that was it.

What did we have for Iowa, close to 77 I think.

Student section was pretty full, some open seats here and there, a few under the press box open. I would say there were roughly 2-3 thousand no-shows. Sounds right to me.

Not saying it was a sell out, and yes after halftime there were about 60,000.

But it was pretty full, I mean there was 74,000 people there, which like you said is the same amount for the Iowa game.

There was NOT 73,910 there today. Way too many empty seats, especially in the south side of the east upper deck. There were 1/2 empty rows in the south endzone and quite a bit of space at the top of the student section, even at its fullest.

Oh, and I didn't see anyone "scan" our three tickets. The stubs were torn off and the tickets handed back. Unless they scanned the stubs later, there was no scanning going on at Gate C where we entered.
