First incoming transfer (from Marquette then to JC in Florida) Trevor Mbakwe gets arrested for felony battery, now stud recruit Royce White gets arrested for shoplifting and assault at Macy's.

Oh, and senior guard Devron Bostick is also suspended for breaking undisclosed team rules.

White and Mbakwe both had some baggage coming in, not sure about Bostick.

BTW, Mbakwe did not have baggage coming in.

Didn't he go to like 4 different high schools in 4 years and then bail on your Marquette team out of the blue?

That never happened when Tubby was at Kentucky. But then the players were paid much better in Lexington too.

Didnt we recruit Royce White pretty hard? I seem to remember him having some similar issues while in high school...

Hope to hell we don't end up with strories like this. As much as Izzo is the guy, it has to be a mine field recruiting kids who have a talent for both being idiots and bball in equal proportions.

Can't imagine the pressure on Tubby right now. He is trying to bring back a program in a year where the b-10 is just going to be brutal. Only the strong will survive and there won't be any gophers on the survival group.
